Music Licence

A Music Licence is required to play recorded music at our events with one exception and that is at the Club's Birthday Party. This is the Club's Birthday not individual's birthdays.

This was checked in 2023 for the Club's 60th Birthday and music has been played at one of the Club's Summer Socials on occassions since.

Summer Socials

As a footnote to the above in case you didn't know...

There is an intended sequence to the following; 

1. Open Day (typically May), 

2. Early Summer Social (typically early June) and the 

3. Formal RYA Training (typically late June / July). 

Any new members joining in May should be intentionally invited to the Early Summer Social to get to know about the Club (the programme, booking via webcollect to where the phone is and fire extinguishers are, and our emergency procedure etc.,), prior to them attending future events such as the formal training.
